• Latest generation of Milltek precision-engineered performance exhausts for iconic Porsche models – Macan, Boxster Cayman, Cayenne and 911 – surpass OE quality and sound
  • Upgrade Porsche models with precision-engineered Milltek performance exhaust systems with a lifetime warranty
  • High quality Milltek system is more cost effective than Porsche OE exhaust on replacement

Porsche evokes emotion. This famous sports car brand is about history, passion, precision, performance and the pursuit of perfection.

For Porsche enthusiasts that level of perfection (particularly when referring to the iconic 911) has already been achieved, so ‘enhancing’ perfection may be regarded as an impossible task.

But Milltek, the UK’s leading exhaust specialist, has managed to achieve this with its latest range of Porsche exhaust systems that both improve the driving experience and give owners an affordable alternative over an expensive standard system.

Rather than choosing a Porsche OE exhaust when it’s time for replacement, owners can fit a Milltek exhaust to their current car for a satisfying and cost-effective upgrade.

Whether it’s the howl of a naturally aspirated flat-six or the growl of a turbocharged hybrid, Milltek gives Porsche 911, Macan, Boxster, Cayenne and Cayman owners the opportunity to improve the sound of their engines and the quality of their exhausts with its updated portfolio of aftermarket precision-engineered systems.

Kev Hall, Technical Operations Manager at Milltek, said: “Porsche is the go-to for performance car enthusiasts. At Milltek we have invested heavily in developing these systems and when the time comes to change your old exhaust, the Milltek systems make total sense.

“Milltek’s Porsche exhausts are high quality, far more affordable, lighter and you get a lifetime guarantee. You are giving your car a new lease of life.”

Milltek exhausts are designed with dual priorities: delivering the evocative sound that makes Porsche ownership so special, while optimising air flow for genuine performance improvements. Its Derby-based in-house capabilities means each system is designed and manufactured specifically for each Porsche model car using premium T304L stainless steel to exceed the quality and lifespan of the standard factory-fitted version.

Unlike standard OE exhausts, each Milltek system comes with a lifetime warranty applicable to the original purchaser – a testament to its superior quality and durability.

Milltek exhausts for Porsches were also given a ringing endorsement when Wheeler Dealer’s Mike Brewer had his own 911 enhanced with one of the company’s systems earlier this year.

“Our approach to exhaust design goes beyond simply replacing the original equipment,” said Hall. “Our experienced engineers develop systems that deliver measurably better sound quality than OE exhausts. When Porsche owners fit a Milltek system, they’re not just upgrading their exhaust – they’re investing in engineering excellence that transforms the entire driving experience.”

For example, Milltek offers two full system options for the 911 Turbo S, both providing significantly improved flow over the original equipment. These are:

  • Resonated System with HJS High Flow Cats and rear silencer – delivering enhanced performance with a refined, sophisticated tone
  • Race System with HJS High Flow Cats and rear X-pipe – the more aggressive option for those seeking maximum auditory drama

Both systems unlock the true character of the flat-six engine, with improved throttle response and a soundtrack that does justice to Porsche’s legendary engineering. See and hear the transformation here: youtube.com/watch?v=SzcDDbBOcko.

Milltek has the latest 992 evolution of the evergreen 911 covered, including a set-up developed for the Carrera GTS T-Hybrid. An OPF/GPF Back system works with the original PSE valve for the 3.0T Carrera S, GTS with two- or four-wheel drive, and the Dakar. There is also the Signature Series Cat Back system made from titanium for these models, while 992.1 GT3 owners can opt for an upgraded rear silencer.

Owners of the 997.2 version of the 911 in C2, C4, S and GTS specifications can choose from various tailpipe options.

The Boxster range of exhausts extends from the 987 model produced between 2005 and 2012, plus the 718 generation from 2016 fitted with the 2.5- and 4.0-litre engines. These exhausts are also available for the Porsche Cayman of the same period.

Porsche’s SUV models are catered for and Milltek has just added a GPF Back exhaust system for the Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid. The Macan 2.9 GTS and Turbo can be upgraded with Milltek’s Valved Rear Silencers that come with a choice of different tailpipe trims.

South West homeowners face seven-day waits for urgent repairs as tradie shortages continue to bite Fix Radio analysis shows the South West is among the slowest regions for urgent fixes, while Plymouth records one of the longest city-level waits in the UK The South West records an average 7-day wait for an urgent tradie fix. Plymouth records one of the longest city-level waits in the dataset, at 10 days. Across the 17 cities surveyed, the average wait for an urgent fix is just over 6 days. CITB says the UK construction industry needs to recruit the equivalent of 239,300 extra workers between 2025 and 2029. Analysis from Fix Radio shows that homeowners in the South West are facing an average seven-day wait for an urgent tradesperson fix, placing the region among the slower parts of the UK for repair response times. Based on Fix Radio’s analysis of city-level urgent repair wait-time data from Markel Direct’s Censuswide survey of UK homeowners, the findings point to continued pressure on trades capacity, local demand and labour availability across the region. The national picture remains highly uneven. The East of England records the shortest average wait at three days, followed by the North East on four days, the North West on 4.5 days and London on five. Wales and the South East each average six days, Yorkshire and the Humber sits at 6.5, while the South West, West Midlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland all come in at seven days. At the other end of the scale, the East Midlands records the longest average delay at nine days, leaving a six-day gap between the fastest and slowest regional averages in the dataset. The research also found that 44% of homeowners have already delayed repairs because of the cost of hiring a tradesperson, while city-level data shows waits stretching as high as 10 days in Plymouth for urgent issues. That makes the South West one of the clearest examples of how regional pressure can build when local demand, household repair needs and labour constraints begin to overlap. Set against a construction workforce already under strain, the figures point to a region where availability remains a growing issue for both customers and tradespeople. CITB forecasts that the industry will need to recruit the equivalent of 239,300 extra workers between 2025 and 2029, with the UK construction workforce expected to reach around 2.75 million by 2029. From Fix Radio’s perspective, the findings reflect a wider story around availability, local demand and the challenge of keeping enough skilled people in the pipeline. Waiting times are not only a sign of homeowner frustration. They also show where order books are full, where capacity is tight and where the wider conversation around skills and recruitment is becoming harder to ignore. In the South West, where regional averages are already above the national benchmark and Plymouth stands out as one of the slowest locations in the dataset, that pressure is becoming increasingly visible.
