Collecting Cars, the globally recognised online auction platform for enthusiast and collector vehicles, has launched bidding on one of the most iconic hypercars of the 21st century – a 2004 Ferrari Enzo, certified by Ferrari Classiche and finished in the marque’s signature Rosso Corsa. A rare UK-delivered example showing fewer than 15,000 miles from new, it has already attracted a bid in excess of £1.65 million, with four days remaining before the auction concludes. With only a handful of UK-market cars ever delivered, and even fewer offered publicly, this presents a landmark opportunity for collectors seeking provenance, rarity and prestige.

Delivered via Meridien Modena in Hampshire in 2004 and retained by its current keeper for nearly two decades, this Enzo is presented in impressive condition with a comprehensive service record. Its matching-numbers 6.0-litre F140B V12 engine is paired with Ferrari’s six-speed F1-style automated manual gearbox, delivering 651 bhp and a 0–62 mph time of just 3.1 seconds. The most recent service was completed by Autofficina in June 2024, with its last MOT certificate issued in July 2024.

Inside, carbon-fibre racing seats are trimmed in Nero leather with Rosso centre panels and embossed ‘Cavallino’ emblems, complemented by Rosso leather detailing across the dash and steering wheel. The cabin features extensive visible carbon-fibre, including factory-fit Rosso leather on the steering wheel centre – reportedly seen on just two of the 277 Rosso Corsa examples. Rosso dials, carbon paddles and LED shift lights complete the purposeful, F1-inspired interior. Externally, the car rides on twin-spoke 19-inch BBS alloy wheels refinished in a darker silver, over carbon-ceramic brakes. The lower bodywork has also been refinished in matching Rosso Corsa, replacing the original black finish for a more cohesive aesthetic.

Certified by Ferrari Classiche in 2016, the car is accompanied by its red book and original handbook pack. Even though some damage was sustained early in its life, it was swiftly and fully repaired by Ferrari’s official bodyshop, Carrozzeria Zanasi Maranello. The Enzo remains mechanically original, with all work documented as part of its official provenance.

Originally launched in 2002 as a tribute to the company’s founder and a showcase of Formula 1-derived technology, the Enzo followed the F40 and F50 in Ferrari’s halo car lineage and was the final model to feature a naturally aspirated V12 without hybrid assistance. Its carbon fibre tub, pushrod suspension, active aerodynamics and stripped-back interior made it one of the most advanced and visceral supercars of its time. Drawing directly from Ferrari’s era of F1 dominance, the Enzo was designed to celebrate technical leadership while delivering a pure, high-revving driving experience – a marked contrast to the hybrid and turbocharged hypercars that followed.

With many now held in long-term private collections and seldom offered for public sale, especially in the UK, this particular example stands out thanks to its low mileage, Ferrari Classiche certification and long-term single ownership.

Analysis from Fix Radio shows that homeowners in the South West are facing an average seven-day wait for an urgent tradesperson fix, placing the region among the slower parts of the UK for repair response times. Based on Fix Radio’s analysis of city-level urgent repair wait-time data from Markel Direct’s Censuswide survey of UK homeowners, the findings point to continued pressure on trades capacity, local demand and labour availability across the region. The national picture remains highly uneven. The East of England records the shortest average wait at three days, followed by the North East on four days, the North West on 4.5 days and London on five. Wales and the South East each average six days, Yorkshire and the Humber sits at 6.5, while the South West, West Midlands, Scotland and Northern Ireland all come in at seven days. At the other end of the scale, the East Midlands records the longest average delay at nine days, leaving a six-day gap between the fastest and slowest regional averages in the dataset. The research also found that 44% of homeowners have already delayed repairs because of the cost of hiring a tradesperson, while city-level data shows waits stretching as high as 10 days in Plymouth for urgent issues. That makes the South West one of the clearest examples of how regional pressure can build when local demand, household repair needs and labour constraints begin to overlap. Set against a construction workforce already under strain, the figures point to a region where availability remains a growing issue for both customers and tradespeople. CITB forecasts that the industry will need to recruit the equivalent of 239,300 extra workers between 2025 and 2029, with the UK construction workforce expected to reach around 2.75 million by 2029.
